The Screaming Eagles (26-21-3) grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Charles-Eric Legare and Cameron Darcy. Delisle and Petr Sidlik sandwiched second-period goals around one by Cape Bretons Bronson Beaton, and trailed 3-2 going into the third period. Yan Pavel Laplante got the equalizer for Victoriaville in the third period.
