The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import defensive back Patrick Watkins and non-import receiver Akeem Foster. Watkins spent his last two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts, posting 117 tackles, two sacks and 10 interceptions. The two-time CFL All Star was also a member of the 100th Grey Cup Champion team. Foster was originally selected by the BC Lions in the fourth round (24th overall) of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. In 32 starts, the native of Ajax, ON, recorded 949 yards on 61 receptions and nine touchdowns before he was traded to Winnipeg in September 2013. As a member of the Blue Bombers, he recorded 35 yards on five receptions.
